Israel Forever

In my previous post, I announced the launch, so to speak, of KOEOY Media. This is something borne of my strong desire to see more creative presentations in Messianic Judaism. I'm very passionate about equipping others to be more effective in reaching the world with the truth of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, as well as the unrivaled importance of Israel and the Jewish People in the purposes of G-d. In order to communicate this message well, I believe we need two things; one is accurate, life-changing teaching and two, the most creative means to present it. Now, tonight will see the first installment of KM - the Israel Forever design packs. If you're just joining us, you can read a bit more about what all this means, or could mean for you, in my previous post fittingly titled: KOEOY Media. For those of you who already know what's going on, or enough to get started, let's do just that!

I'd like to first explain the concept behind the Israel Forever design packs:

Less than seventy years ago, the Jewish People were, miraculously, very much alive, but living among the nations, deprived of the land their G-d had promised them so many centuries ago. History has never witnessed an entire nation of people, scattered across the earth, be providentially collected, given its geographical inheritance and revived ancient language, then, rightfully deposited directly in the center of the world, no less, and in the hearts of all who love freedom. The People of Israel are the only remnant of a time that seems otherworldly when compared to the present, yet they continue to bless all of civilization, as they have since their humble beginning. Israel is exceptional in every way.

It has been said by some that the G-d of Israel is finished with His people. This thought has given rise to unspeakable horrors, unimaginably horrendous acts that would split the people from their land, but even more tragically, from the living. This errant thought propagated an unseen empire, ruled by ignorance, that still roams the earth today, as it has for centuries, seeking out the servants of G-d, the Jewish People, with no other intention but to annihilate them. But where in scripture does it give evidence that G-d has ended His relationship with Judaism or the people defined by it? It is more than obvious that those whom Adonai has called His people, remain His people today. Despite everything that the world dare bring against her, Israel not only endures, but thrives. Her Protector rushes to conquer all who would seek to do her harm. We know this; Israel will be redeemed. Israel is forever.

I wanted to somehow translate this very important truth into visual symbology. Combining the symbol of eternity and that of the Magen David, the symbol representing the People Israel and Judaism, I created an icon that successfully embodies this concept in a minimalistic manner. The possibilities of continuing visual representation concerning this concept will surely grow in my mind and yours, but for now, I've chosen to begin with a simple set of wallpapers for various devices - those being desktop computers, the iPad tablet computer and the iPhone. However, most of the files are large enough to have multiple uses, such as screen backgrounds for your congregation or as elements in print pieces. It is my hope that these images will be cause for conversation among those you interact with daily. If these designs cause a single person, after talking with you, to seek truth out for themselves, I will have been extremely successful in my endeavor. Please, by all means, keep me informed of the reactions of those in your realm and the conversations borne of this experiment.

Before we get to clicking, let me set some ground rules. Everything I'm offering you has been made by me. I will inform you if this is ever not the case. I have chosen not to include attribution in the files I'm providing. I don't feel that small print indicating the origination of these designs is needed. This initiative is not really about me, it's about you, and what you choose to do with the tools you're given. Without attribution, these files may still be used by those who do not necessarily wish to be affiliated with KOEOY or myself - because I'm just nice like that. However, the rights to all concepts and artwork belong to me completely. I am giving you permission to use them in any manner you like on only two conditions; You do not have permission to profit from my work, that is, to sell any physical or digital items or products of any type that have been created using any elements or concepts contained, or that utilize these elements or concepts; and second, you do not have permission to use any imagery to create any work, physical, written or digital that defames KOEOY, Yeshua, Israel, the Jewish People, Judaism, its subset, Messianic Judaism or the designs creator, Luke Romer. Downloading of KM material signifies that you have understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you have any questions pertaining to these guidelines, contact me at lukeromer{{}}gmail.com before you download.

I want KOEOY Media to be an ongoing service, so to speak, to the larger community of Judaism and its subset, Messianic Judaism. Your contribution to it is of utmost importance and value to me. If you have an idea, or concept you'd like to see actualized, please share it with me. If you need something designed, have noticed something I've mistakenly omitted, or take issue with anything you see here, by all means, contact me right away. I am making myself available to our community. Why? Because I strongly believe in its life, message and potential. I want to help it carry out the work it has been given as that day approaches. Tikkun Ha Olam.

Please find examples of the design packs below. Below the examples you will find download links corresponding to the theme you've chosen. It was far easier for me to package the files by theme rather than resolution or type. If this method works for us all, I'll continue to do things this way. In every pack you choose, you will find all the files associated with that theme. Unzip the pack, select the file you want, and do whatever you like with the unused images. If you are able to mirror the download on your own site, that would be phenomenal. As I stated in yesterday's post, my goal is to make these designs available to widest audience possible.

Israel Forever Cosmos  |  Israel Forever 1  |  Israel Forever 2
Israel Forever 3  |  Israel Forever 4  |  Israel Forever 5

Each packet includes desktop wallpapers at various resolutions (if yours is missing, just let me know) except for Israel Forever Cosmos, which contains only an iPad and iPhone wallpaper.

So that's it! Enjoy your new downloads, spread the word, start conversations and come back tomorrow.
Leilah Tov, readers!

  5. Thanks so much, Serge! I really appreciate your comments. I, too, thought IF2 would make a nice iPad background because of the frame it kind of has. I like IF3 (my current) and IF4 as desktops and I imagined IF_Cosmos would make nice iPhone candy. Come back for more iStuff as I get it together - and thanks again for your very kind words.

  10. Hey Aaron,

You're certainly able to print them on whatever you like, just not to sell them, if that's what you're saying. Who knows what the future holds, though. I might be able to offer some sort of products at some point. That just isn't the main objective at this point. I just wanted to get things started and see where you guys wanted to go with it.

Let me know if you'd like a different type of file for your project. I'll be offering vectors toward the end of this first batch of designs that'll help with various ideas folks may have.

Dress shirts? Awesome idea! I would definitely be into that.
